4 Months

It's so hard to believe, but Griffin is 4 months old.  Here are his stats:
16 lbs. 4 oz. = 75%
26 1/4 inches long = 80%
It looks like he is in the "big boy club" too.  He has affectionately earned the name
"Chub-a-lub" (at least that is what Parker and I refer to him as).  He is sitting in the Bumbo, he has noticed his hands and feet, he laughs occasionally, and has just started taking his paci out (he hasn't figured out how to get in).

My projects....

The week before Christmas I painted three canvases.  It was the first time that I had been hired....so exciting!  I always enjoy painting canvases for girls because I never get to use pink around here!

Cindy, soon to be Olivia, & I

What a wonderful blessing family is.  I am so thankful that we were able to celebrate Christ's birth with our family.  We really tried hard to focus on the true meaning of Christmas with Parker.  We lit the advent candles every night in December and read from the bible.  We talked about Jesus being the perfect gift and that is why we give gifts to others.  He loved to help light the candles....he would always say, "Jesus is the light of the world."

Sweet Boys

Both of these pictures are from today.  We went to Parker's class Christmas party.  The tradition on the days he goes to school is for all three of us to take a nap together in our bed after school (he has napped at school maybe 3 times in the last 1 1/2 years).  Today, this is what I woke up to.  So precious!  It is so cool to see how much they love each other already.

Christmas Train

Today we took the family on the Christmas train that goes to Rogers and back.  It was really cool.  Parker looked out the window the entire time.  This was his first train ride.  I think it will be a new Christmas tradition for us.

Fayetteville Square

We had so much fun hanging out with the Tuckers!  Parker and Jane are only 10 days apart and have always enjoyed each other's company.  We ate dinner and then walked around the square. It's such a special time of year....it's fun to enjoy it with friends!

Uncle Philip

Philip came in from NY for Thanksgiving.  It was his first time to meet Griffin.  We were all excited to see him!  Parker was especially excited to see him.  He has been asking if we can get on a plane and go to New York.  We can't wait to see you in a few weeks Philip!
