My boys at graduation

We went to North Carolina last week to see my cousin Clay's graduation. We had a great time touring Chapel Hill and Durham. We ate a ton of food and enjoyed spending time with our family. Besides Clay's graduation, the highlights were touring Duke's campus (amazing), eating at Foster's, and going to a local dairy farm to sample ice cream. We are so proud of you Clay!

Cowboy Up

We had a fun time riding horses at Gigi and Papa Russ's this weekend. Parker got to break in his new cowboy boots and hat that Papa Russ got him. Griffin rode a horse for the first time. When he got on Dusty, he waved to us and said, "bye." He has no fear! We had a cowboy campfire and cooked hotdogs, rode the mule, and had fun playing with the Bakers.

Easter

Easter is a glorious day celebrating the greatest gift ever known to this world! I'm a blessed girl. My heart is full.

Silver Dollar City

We finally bit the bullet and bought Silver Dollar City season passes. It was our first time to go and the boys LOVED it, especially Parker! I'm sure this is the first of many trips this year!

Keeping up with P & G

As you can see...I have two little monkeys. Griffin is absolutely everywhere and into absolutely everything. I have nicknamed him "workout", because chasing after him all day is indeed a workout! He is very curious and very quick! Parker and Griffin got every pillow in the house the other day and had "pillow world." What will they think of next?

Mischievious Boys (and their sweet cousins)

Oh these boys...they are so much fun, have so much energy, and completely wear me out! Their faces in these pictures tell it all! This is Griffin's new "cheese" face. Anytime you get out a camera or say "cheese", this is what he does. It's super funny and cute unless you are wanting a picture without this face.

notice G's face....again
My brother and his family came to visit last weekend. The girls are so precious! All the kids had a lot of fun chasing each other around. We miss you Oaklee & Olivia!

More Snow!

So January was extremely cold and filled with quite a bit of snow! We got 6 inches of snow on Friday. Parker loves the snow....especially sledding. We had a great time sledding with all of our friends that live close by! Griffin, on the other hand, is not a fan of the snow...maybe next year.

Snow

Parker & Jack

Avery girl

We woke up to a blanket of snow. We went to church, came home, and after naps we went sledding with the McGoodens. We all took turns sledding and had a blast! It was sooo cold. We came home and enjoyed Russian Tea and hot chocolate. We're gearing up for a cold week!

Parker's hat of choice

This kid does not like hats (which is a shame because he is so cute in them!). Yesterday, when we needed to leave the house, I told Parker to go get a hat that would keep him warm. This is what he chose. He wore it in the car for about 30 minutes and then decided it was too heavy.

The 80's called..

...and they want their clothes back! I laugh at this picture every time I see it. This picture was taken last week at our annual "Ugly Sweater Christmas Party."

Family Pics Sneak Peek

On Sunday we headed down to Charleston, Arkansas to have our pictures taken by Raye Law.  We had so much fun playing in the field of flowers and throwing rocks at the lake.  These are just some of the pics...we're saving our favorites for Christmas cards.  Check her out:  www.rayelawphotography.com/

Parker is 4!

I can hardly believe it!  These have been the best 4 years.  He had a great birthday with all of his favorites....jumpzone, chuck-e-cheese, spiderman cake from "kafey", & the promenade (that's right, he wanted to go there to walk around...a boy after my own heart).
