Carson Oliver joined our family on December 7th. He weighed a whopping 9 lbs. 4 oz and was 21 inches long.

Halloween
Presenting a cowboy riding a horse and "i run" man (aka iron man). Parker got to choose what he wanted to be this year. Griffin didn't really know what was going on so we had lined up 3 costumes, not knowing which one he would be until about 4:30 on Sunday. He chose the cowboy. We went to The Grove's fall festival and then went trick-or-treating. Today has been candy detox (for them, not me : ).

Almost 5 weeks...
It's almost 5 weeks until Carson joins our family! We're so excited, but have been oh so busy getting ready for his arrival. My nesting kicked in especially early this time. I've been painting (not just canvases), cleaning, and organizing just about everything in the house. I have a C section scheduled for December 7th. We can't wait to meet him!
Parker is 5!
I can hardly believe that Parker is 5! He has grown up so much. He is really into football, horses (he lassos everything), and playing outside. He says he wants to be a football player and a horse trainer when he grows up. He's such a loving brother and a joy to be around. Parker, we praise God for you and we love you to pieces!

G is 2
And He's Off...
For about a year now, Parker has been asking us if he could run a race. We have ran several 5K's while pushing the boys in the stroller. Parker has always wanted to run across the finish line. He decided he needed "running shoes", so we bought him some and the "training" has begun. He runs in his first race on Monday. It's a 1 mile fun run for kids. He's so cute when he runs. I'm hoping he will have our love of running.

Catching up from the summer...
Griffin enjoying swim lessons at Swim Ranch with Gigi
Parker was in Lane 1 at Swim Ranch this year and started swimming under water.
We took the boys to "slack night" at the Rodeo of the Ozarks. I just love this little cowboy!
Parker & Bridger at Dave O'Brien's soccer camp. He learned a lot and did great!
My niece, Oaklee, with her new little brother Silas David. We're so excited to have another sweet boy in the family!

Numana:Razorback Relief
Our friend Rich Morris organized the Razorback Relief that took place last weekend. Numana is an organization that focuses on "feeding the starving." Numana put on this incredible even that took place at the Randal Tyson Track Center. Thousands of volunteers showed up to help bag food (that consisted of rice, beans, vitamins, and seasonings) for the people of Haiti. We were able to break a world record by bagging 1.4 million bags of food in 24 hours. More importantly, we were able to help feed the people of Haiti. It was neat to get to interact with all the volunteers. It was so easy the boys were even able to help. We're hoping this event will take place again in the spring. I'm so thankful to live in a place where people are so giving of their time and resources!

My boys at graduation
We went to North Carolina last week to see my cousin Clay's graduation. We had a great time touring Chapel Hill and Durham. We ate a ton of food and enjoyed spending time with our family. Besides Clay's graduation, the highlights were touring Duke's campus (amazing), eating at Foster's, and going to a local dairy farm to sample ice cream. We are so proud of you Clay!

Cowboy Up
We had a fun time riding horses at Gigi and Papa Russ's this weekend. Parker got to break in his new cowboy boots and hat that Papa Russ got him. Griffin rode a horse for the first time. When he got on Dusty, he waved to us and said, "bye." He has no fear! We had a cowboy campfire and cooked hotdogs, rode the mule, and had fun playing with the Bakers.
