Halloween

Our "spooky eyebrow" jack-o-lantern

We had a busy and fun filled Halloween. Griffin wanted to be "Ryan Mallek" aka Ryan Mallet. Parker wanted to be Joe Adams. So naturally, Carson was a Razorback football player as well. I know one, thing...their dad and I are definitely their biggest fans!

Our Little Man is 10 Months Old!

This year has definitely flown by! Carson is 10 months old and taking out some milestones:
He started crawling at 7 months
He started walking at 10 months
He has 5 teeth (with 4 on the way)
He's in the 95% for height and weight
He had his first stitch...a walking accident
He says, "mama, dada, and uh-oh"
He likes to give high fives

We love our little CAR-SO!

Parker turns 6

Parker turned 6! My boys are growing up so fast! September also brought the first visit the tooth fairy.

Griffin turns 3!

Our funny, energetic little guy turned 3. He constantly makes us laugh. We always have a funny "Bippy" story to tell (that is what he refers to himself as). We love you so much Griffin!

Kindergarten

It's so hard to believe, but Parker started Kindergarten this year! It's been a change for all of us, but definitely a good one! We absolutely love his teacher, Mrs. Wiegel!

Florida

Catch Up

Parker played T ball for the first time. His team's name was the Rockies. He absolutely loved it! He's excited to get play T ball again this fall.

The boys did great with their swim lessons at Swim Ranch!

Chunky Monkey

This little chunky monkey is 5 months old today! I love every ounce of him! He is such a good baby! Here are his month stats/accomplishments:
21 lbs. 8 oz.
He has started eating peas
He loves his brothers and giggles at them all the time
He loves to hold anything you give him
he rolls over (only when he's asleep)
he currently has his 3rd double ear infection (hello tubes!)

Heels & Hills

Last weekend, the Marathon Mamas headed to Irving, TX to run in the "Heels & Hills" half marathon. I'm not sure if you can read it, but our shirts say, "13.1 miles of peace and quiet". These girls have been such a blessing to me. I enjoy every minute of our time together! We all successfully finished the half marathon, even though the weather was not cooperative!

Easter

Easter was very wet! We still trudged through the rain to make it to church...what a beautiful service it was. We talked about how Christ's death for our sins was such a beautiful exchange. Undeserving? Yes, but beautiful nonetheless. I have had the Matt Maher song stuck in my head all day, such beautiful lyrics to capture the essence of Easter:

Let no one caught in sin remain

Inside the lie of inward shame

We fix our eyes upon the cross

And run to him who showed great love

And bled for us

Freely you've bled for us

Christ is risen from the dead

Trampling over death by death

Come awake come awake

Come and rise up from the grave

Christ is risen from the dead

We are one with him again

Come awake come awake

Come and rise up from the grave

Beneath the weight of all our sin

You bowed to none but heaven's will

No scheme of hell no scoffer's crown

No burden great can hold you down

Bentonville Half Marathon

Patrick and I both ran the Bentonville Half Marathon last weekend. I've been training with Stacy Waller, Meghan Hastings, and Amy VanLear for several months. Our running group is called "Marathon Mamas". Patrick has been running with Brian Bailey, Patrick Henry, and Matt King. They represented Brian's new store "The Mustache" (opening soon on the Fayetteville Square...go check it out!). The boys beat us, but this was just preparation for our half marathon coming up in May in Texas. This race was hot and hard. It will definitely not be a repeat for me.
