4 Months

It's so hard to believe, but Griffin is 4 months old.  Here are his stats:
16 lbs. 4 oz. = 75%
26 1/4 inches long = 80%
It looks like he is in the "big boy club" too.  He has affectionately earned the name
"Chub-a-lub" (at least that is what Parker and I refer to him as).  He is sitting in the Bumbo, he has noticed his hands and feet, he laughs occasionally, and has just started taking his paci out (he hasn't figured out how to get in).

My projects....

The week before Christmas I painted three canvases.  It was the first time that I had been hired....so exciting!  I always enjoy painting canvases for girls because I never get to use pink around here!

Cindy, soon to be Olivia, & I

What a wonderful blessing family is.  I am so thankful that we were able to celebrate Christ's birth with our family.  We really tried hard to focus on the true meaning of Christmas with Parker.  We lit the advent candles every night in December and read from the bible.  We talked about Jesus being the perfect gift and that is why we give gifts to others.  He loved to help light the candles....he would always say, "Jesus is the light of the world."

Sweet Boys

Both of these pictures are from today.  We went to Parker's class Christmas party.  The tradition on the days he goes to school is for all three of us to take a nap together in our bed after school (he has napped at school maybe 3 times in the last 1 1/2 years).  Today, this is what I woke up to.  So precious!  It is so cool to see how much they love each other already.

Christmas Train

Today we took the family on the Christmas train that goes to Rogers and back.  It was really cool.  Parker looked out the window the entire time.  This was his first train ride.  I think it will be a new Christmas tradition for us.

Fayetteville Square

We had so much fun hanging out with the Tuckers!  Parker and Jane are only 10 days apart and have always enjoyed each other's company.  We ate dinner and then walked around the square. It's such a special time of year....it's fun to enjoy it with friends!

Uncle Philip

Philip came in from NY for Thanksgiving.  It was his first time to meet Griffin.  We were all excited to see him!  Parker was especially excited to see him.  He has been asking if we can get on a plane and go to New York.  We can't wait to see you in a few weeks Philip!

Stephanie's Painting(s)

Stephanie made us some fantastic curtains for our living room, kitchen, & bathroom, so I did this for her in return.  They are two canvases put together.

Halloween Pics

So finally I'm getting around to posting Halloween pics.  Parker wanted to be a "dump truck driver", but I told him that they don't wear a costume.....so decided that he would be a farmer and he wanted Griffin to be his cow.  He also wanted me to be the Momma cow, but I declined.

Latest project

Can you believe it....three posts in one day!  This is the latest painting I did.  It's my first abstract and I really had fun doing it!
Griffin's announcement....pictures were taken by Brett Harkey www.harkeyphoto.com and the announcements were created by Mandy Baker at 3tdesigns.blogspot.com

2 Month Pics

It's a little late, but here it is.  This is Griffin in his prime.  He smiles all the time and is so content!  He has begun cooing and he is trying to laugh.  We are so blessed by him!

Kelley Boys

No, Papa smurf did not blow up on our deck.  I think it's an under statement to say that Parker is enjoying his new blue sand that Sarah gave us.  At this rate, it will last us all of two days.
Griffin is 8 weeks old.  He is still such a good baby.  He is only waking up once a night to get fed.  He has started smiling at us and cooing.

Griffin Pics

Here are the latest pictures of Griffin.  He is now 7 weeks.  It has gone by so fast!  He is changing so much.  His hair is mixture of blonde, brown, and red....so we're not sure what it will end up being.  He is so good and is only waking up once a night now to be fed.  We are really enjoying him!

Happy Birthday Parker!

Parker turned 3 years old today!  Yesterday we went to Build A Bear to celebrate.  His only request was a cake with sprinkles on it.  I just put him down for bed and told him that tomorrow when he wakes up, his birthday would be over (he thinks his birthday will last forever).  His reply was "but I'm supposed to be the birthday boy."  He is so much fun.  We praise God for blessing us with three entertaining years!

One Month Pics

Yesterday Griffin was one month old.  We couldn't ask for a better baby.  He sleeps through the night (except for when he eats).  He is becoming more alert and working on holding up his head.  He has the hiccups all the time!  He also likes watching Parker.  What a sweet boy!

Sweet Boys

Parker absolutely loves his "little brudder."  He is so sweet to him and gives him a thousand kisses a day.  Griffin is such a blessing!  He is such a good baby.  We're so thankful for our sweet boys.

More Paintings...

So here are the latest things I have been working on.  I packed as much painting as I could get in before Griffin was born.  It will probably be a while before I have time for it.

"Brudders"

Parker affectionately refers to Griffin as "baby brudder."  Here are a few things I have heard since Griffin has been here:

I caught Parker attempting to get Griffin out of the pack and play.  When I asked Parker what he was doing he said, "Griffin wants his big brudder to hold him."

"Griffin is stinky, you need to give him a bath."

"I am the boss applesauce."  I quickly reminded him that God made Mommy and Daddy the boss.  Parker's response, "Well God told me I am the boss."  We then had conversation about telling the truth.  Oh this kid!
